Our Story: Founded by Brookside parents Justine and Ryan, The Diaper Society was conceptualized in 2021 (inspired by the birth of our firstborn) and became a reality in Fall 2024. As parents ourselves, we understand the desire for convenient, healthy, and eco-friendly diapering solutions. Inspired by our own experience using a cloth diaper service for our firstborn, we set out on a mission to make high-quality cloth diapering even more accessible to families in the Kansas City area.

• Focus on the Environment: We’re committed to a low waste approach to living and running our business. We believe reducing waste will help protect the environment for future generations. We currently utilize a hybrid vehicle for pickups and deliveries and are exploring all-electric options. We also offer a complimentary Terracycle Zero Waste program for customers to recycle a variety of baby care items, further supporting our low waste initiative.
• Natural Materials: We prioritize natural materials to support health and comfort. This includes 100% cotton prefolds, fitted diapers, and wipes. Our inserts consist of a bamboo/cotton exterior with absorbent microfiber interior.
• Convenience: As working parents ourselves (Justine is a nurse practitioner, and Ryan is a Manager of IT recruiting), we understand the value of time. Let us take care of the laundering so you can focus on what matters most.
• Support Local: The Diaper Society is locally owned, operated, and founded by Kansas City natives. We prioritize purchasing USA made products when possible.
